EXECUTIVE SUPPORT MENTORING
The work gets less obvious as you get more senior.
You already know how to manage the calendar, the inbox and the moving parts. The harder questions are about judgement: what is yours to own, what genuinely needs your executive, when to push, when to escalate and how to navigate the dynamics around senior leadership.
1:1 practitioner-led mentoring for experienced Executive Assistants and Executive Business Partners.
THE PART OF THE JOB NOBODY REALLY TEACHES YOU
At a certain point, executive support stops being primarily about execution.
You are interpreting context, deciding what deserves attention, reading dynamics, challenging appropriately, protecting focus and working out where your responsibility begins and ends.
There is rarely a playbook for that.
This mentoring gives you somewhere independent to think through those moments with someone who has done the work from the inside.
FOR BOTH SIDES OF THE PARTNERSHIP
For the EA / EBP
You are experienced, and the role is asking more of your judgement.
Your remit is growing. The partnership is evolving. You are taking more ownership, navigating greater complexity, preparing for a bigger role, or working out what “be more strategic” actually means in practice.
You do not need to arrive with a perfectly formed question. Often the question is not whether you can handle the work, but how you want to handle it.
For the Executive
You already have a capable EA. The question is how much judgement, ownership and context they can carry without everything finding its way back to you.
Mentoring gives them somewhere experienced and independent to work through the situations that are difficult to examine inside the day-to-day relationship.
The result is clearer ownership, better judgement about what genuinely needs your attention, and a stronger working partnership.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE CONVERSATION
A partnership that needs to evolve.
A role that has grown faster than the mandate around it.
A judgement call with no obvious right answer.
A conversation where the question is not whether to speak up, but how and when.
A responsibility you are deciding whether to own, escalate or let go.
WHY PRACTITIONER-LED?
I have spent more than a decade in executive support and CEO Office work, including nearly ten years at Babbel, where I moved from Executive Assistant to building and leading the CEO Office and managing a four-person EA team.
I’ve worked across the executive partnership in several capacities: supporting senior executives directly, developing EAs, building the structures around leadership, and helping shape how information, decisions and priorities move around an executive.
Today, through TMR & Co., I work directly with founders and CEOs inside scaling companies on the leadership operations around them.
My mentoring draws on that experience. I bring pattern recognition, practical judgement and a point of view when it is useful, while keeping the focus on the situation in front of you.

Want your company to fund it?
Company-funded mentoring is welcome. If your organisation has a professional development, leadership development or coaching budget, I can invoice the company directly and provide a short description for internal approval.
HOW IT WORKS
Send me a short note on what you're working through so I can come prepared.
We spend 60 minutes focused on what is actually happening, the judgement call underneath it and what you want to do next.
If you're working with me over four sessions, the space between them matters. You can try something, see what changes and bring the reality back into the next conversation. Sessions are held by video.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
Mentoring draws directly on lived experience. I’ve spent more than a decade in executive support and CEO Office work, building functions around senior leaders and working directly inside founder and executive environments.
Practitioner-led means I bring that experience and pattern recognition into the room. I’ll ask questions, but I’ll also tell you when I recognise something, challenge your interpretation and share what I’ve seen work in similar situations.
Coaching often relies more heavily on a methodology or on helping you arrive at your own answers. With mentoring, we can work directly with what you are facing: the executive dynamic, the unclear mandate, the judgement call.
-
Absolutely. A single 60-minute session is designed for one live situation, decision or question.
You do not need to commit to the four-session option first.
-
At the end of the four-session package, I send you a short written review capturing the key themes we have worked through, the patterns that emerged, the decisions you made and anything worth carrying forward.
It gives you something concrete to return to once you are back in the middle of the work.
-
Yes. What we discuss stays between us.
If your company is funding the mentoring, they do not receive details of our conversations unless we explicitly agree otherwise.
-
No. Mentoring is development for the role you are in, not preparation to leave it.
The aim is to help you operate with clearer judgement, stronger ownership and greater confidence in the decisions and conversations that come with working closely with an executive.
Done well, that strengthens the partnership rather than creating distance from it.
